Waypoints

Waypoints are special objects designed for use by portal managers to keep track of Asset movement in real time. Waypoints can be set at the Asset level, and are limited to one per Asset. They display on the map view as a flag indicator in the precise location they were created to mark. Users can interact with existing Waypoints using the Get Route Tool and by marking them complete when the Asset they’re monitoring passes or arrives at the location.

To create a Waypoint for an Asset, open the Asset options tab in the Details Panel, then select the Set Waypoint option. This will open the Set Waypoint form, which allows users to crate waypoints by selecting from a list of Places, clicking the map, searching for an address, or inputting lat/lng coordinates.
